With the exception of being away for higher education, I have lived in the Renton School District my whole life!

I attended Highlands and Kennydale Elementary, McKnight Middle, and graduated from Hazen High School.

My husband graduated from the Renton School District along with me (picture below!), and our two children currently attend school in our district.
Renton Schools prepared me for educational success
I went on to graduate from Duke University, earn a master’s degree and doctorate of medicine, then complete a Psychiatry residency and a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Washington.
Serving Through My Career
As a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist in our community, I am committed to serving and advocating for children in our community. I am proud of the school district’s community partnerships which make mental health care available to all of our students.
